A significant portion of the artwork images and archival materials are not owned by the Sonnabend Collection Foundation. Many are protected by rights held by third-party copyright holders, including but not limited to:

However, most artwork images and many archival images displayed on this Site are NOT owned by the Sonnabend Collection Foundation. They are protected by copyrights held by:

artists and their estates,
photographers or photography agencies,
external archives or institutions,
rights administration organizations.

No rights are transferred by accessing the Site.

2. Personal, Educational & Research Use

You may view Content for:

personal study,
academic and classroom use (non-commercial),
private research.

This does not include permission to reproduce, distribute, or publish any images.

3. Press Use

8. Required Credit Line

The Sonnabend Collection Foundation provides selected press-approved materials for editorial use in connection with reporting on the Foundation, its exhibitions, programs, or announcements.

1. Permitted Use

Press materials explicitly marked as downloadable (e.g., press releases, press-approved PDFs) may be used solely for:

news reporting,
editorial articles,

2. Restrictions
