Foundation Collection

The collection held by the Sonnabend Collection Foundation comprises works assembled by Ileana and Michael Sonnabend, and Antonio Homem, reflecting the exhibitions and program of the Sonnabend Gallery from the early 1960s through the late 20th century. Formed through their pioneering approach to contemporary art and their keen eye for emerging practices, the collection includes significant examples of Pop Art, Minimalism, Conceptual Art, Arte Povera, new media, and Neo-Geo.
